Pits are a hole dug out by people or form naturally. It's like a small valley that have to be walkthrough before going uphill.

I think that in any craft that we want to learn or master, there is alway this "Pits" we had to go through.

What are the "pits" that i been talking about? it about the mistake, the scolding, the losing, the discouragement, the emotion, the failure and the condemn that we face while advancing forward to our goal.

I once watch a clip in YouTube about the "pits" theory. The man told the guy who interview him that it all about what we want before going through the "pits" . which mean if you are going through the "pits" now and it not what you want, then it time to give up, because it takes time to climb out of it. it a very periodical time before the harvest.

It about when to give up and when to hold on to the last minute. "Pits" theory is all about making the right choice and stick to it and knowing what is the wrong choice that we are stuck with and get out of it.

I've been working in the same place coming to two years. Getting used to the culture and the people there.

Even though it always the same place, things are not always the "same". There are always changes. Changes in teams, changes in the management, changes in positions.

Some people stay and some people had left(tender)

The way things are work changes because of mistake cause by others.

Changes are everywhere. It either we get change by the situation around us or we change our own situation.

This month, i had made a choice to change my own situation. To gain more exposure. I chose to switch department.

There are people who doesn't want to change and in the end they are force to change by the unforgiving situation around them.

Emotion is one of the things that stop people from changing. The stress and fear cause by change is so unbearable that people sometime prefer not to change. All proactive change are good as there are wisdom to gain in return.

It's a year of consistent change. And it is very unforgiving to the emotional part of me. It the price to pay for learning how to mature even more. No one can stay a child forever and let people made decision for them.

To ride my motorbike down the expressway under the cooling weather on a lazy afternoon.

To sit under a cafe without worries while drinking a cup of coffee.

To hold my future wife hand while strolling alone the changi beach.

Travel to the neighbouring country, and enjoy the slow paces of that country.

To laid back and don't care what other have of their opinion. ( it not that i lazy till i don't work, it just my attitude is laid back not lazy)

To enjoy the peace of God, without a worry in my heart.. and all my prayer are thanks giving..

i want to walk slowly and enjoy the privilege of being alive.

To put happy thought in my mind without a single worry in my heart.

There is a question people always ask "If God is so good why did bad things happen to good people"

For the start bad thing happen to bad people too.(Just read the news)

I once read this news about a woman from a poor and unhappy family married to a guy in a foreign land.The family of this guy, treated this woman like one of their own. And she got a happy family that she long for. The story got a twist, when the woman suddenly killed the guy's whole family.When the judge asked her why she did, she answered that she was jealous of the happiness of the family she was married to.The more she saw them in a bliss, the more she wanted to kill them.

Have you ever wonder the miracle of a person riding a bike? It at a speed that is so dangerous,and the rider is not cover by anything. Yet most people actually ride on this thing for more than 50 years. During my experience of riding , i have seen rider riding at a speed that can made mistake easily as they are over taking lane dangerously. And some driver will tailgate the rider and overtake them in a distance that one mistake can prove fatal.

God grace is over the woman in a foreign land, God is watching over the woman and the man's family. God is watching over this one woman over billions of people and bring her out of poverty. And yet this woman chose to end her blessing. And i know God did not chose this for the family. it the woman who chose this path.

God's grace is over the rider, when they are riding from one place to another. It the rider that chose the dangerous path of cutting lane.

In a rural area, There were two farmer.They are father and son related.

The father works hard on the field and the son stay indoor to study hard.

One day, the son asked his father "Pa, it's so hot in here, got any solution to lower the temperature?"

And his father replied "Go out in the sun for about half and hour then come back in the house, you will feel much cooler".

It pretty lame story but very logical. When we lose the thing we take for granted, we will feel bless if we have the things as they use to be.

Things such as health, food, money and friend. Everybody has a down time, during those time we feel like having those thing that we take for granted.

It is a theory that everybody knows even me. I can be even be mocked at for saying such a simple theory.

However, when emotion went high, who will actually stick to this theory?

There was this rich girl i used to know(she live in a three storeys detached house), she commented her friend about her habit of complaining about every little things, and she acted like a noble and well-learned girl saying that her friend should not takes thing for granted as she herself is not like that.

The interesting part was that, when she got scolded by her father, the "noble and well-learned girl" left the house and live with her guy friend for a week.

The road to learning is tough and painful. The reward that reap out of it, is worth it.

When i was in my national service time, i was quite naive in thinking that hardwork will somehow work out for me in the world outside. However that is not true, it is how smart you work and what kind of work you are working in. Getting to know that comes from all the trail and error in picking up all kinds of jobs along my ways.

What kind of trail and error? It more of error in my thinking than my ways

I used to think that by working a low paid job (700 - 1200 per month) will be enough for me, as i will save up a lot to cover back and in the long run, success in life with my saving. To be flank, that kind of thinking is wrong, wrong and damn WRONG. (i will slap my old self in the head if i am standing in front of him) . The reason for this is because expense will get high as time comes.Unexpected happening will occur. i need to add all these up and find a salary that can need all this things that comes my ways.

After knowing this, i was half way to the right path. (Noted, i was "half way to the right path") I began searching for means that can need that requirement. I began to take up degree course(despite i don't have that much cash to meet pay the whole thing), with the rationalise of getting ahead in a job with the highest paid so i don't have to suffer so much. I took up a part time job, thinking it will pay for my studies. so i WAS very sure i am "smart" and going on with my plan.

I was very wrong.(see another bang on the wall) my plan was good, but i didn't plan for the worst outcome. In every plan, there must be a worst case scenario in it. Mine didn't have it.

The good about my plan was that, i able to work as a psychologist with a very high paid
( good vs bad ratio 1:0)

the bad thing which i avoid thinking or avoid finding the solution for it and just drive in was :
1)In what degree or percentage was the Cerf recognise? ( good vs bad ratio 1:1)
2)Was my money management logical? in term of saving, expense and paying for my school fee?
(good vs bad ratio 1:2)
3)how deep is my research on this line on psychologist and the school that i taken up?( good vs ratio 1:4)
4)is my job link with my study or was the salary able to support the fee?(good vs bad ratio 1:5)

I've once read a quote saying "believe in yourself, you know more than you think you know"

I was confuse by this quote. The reason being, we as human being need to learn from outside source such as our mistakes, books, school, people around us.

What is the rationalise behind "you know more than you think you know"?

After having a bad month of being piss off by a series of situation, i began to get in touch with my emotional side. When I'm relax and clear minded, things looks very easy. However, when i in a situation when fear and anger consume me, things no longer looks as easy as it is, even though it is just a simple task.

Sometime when we are right, people tend to talk us down by using our emotion. Making us feel that we are wrong, but in fact we are more than right.

Emotion clouded us of our judgement, letting us do things that we aren't suppose to do.

A clouded mind makes a wrong judgement right, and a right judgement wrong.

During my off day when i got time to read the strait times. I came across an article on yoga. It written that once a mind is disrupted the person will have very short series of breath. Once a person mind is clear, focus and relax. The person will have a longer breath.

I began to observe this when i was getting stress up and anxious at work, my breath did indeed get short. Then i began to lengthen my breath, and the result is where i began to slow down my speed of handling thing, and somehow thing are much clearer.

Indeed, we must train to believe in our self. As we know much more than what we really know.

"You like to run away or avoid solving the problem".

We had many words throw to us in a day, only a few will hit us. That day, this sentence hit me hard.

I began to question myself about the way i handle thing. Does i find a temporary solution or do i find another way to go around it instead of solving it head on?

it a matter of case by case basis.

I no longer ask people to give me opinion of how to change for the better. To me, it better to be scolded or lecturer out of anger and out of good faith of the other party rather than volunteer to be advise.

I learn this the hard way. if one is to ask another person on advise to improve oneself, the person is like handing his life to another person. if that person has an interior motive.

I stared at the sky. It is blue. It is peaceful.

Below the sky, people are busy minding their own business. The sky remain still.

Sometime the sky is filled with clouds, but it still feel peaceful when one is looking at it.

Below the sky, people are arguing and children are crying. The sky remain still.

Sometime the sky is clear and all we can see is the bright shinning sun.

Below the sky, endless flow of vehicle passing under it. unfortunate happening sometime will happen and blood can be seen, the related one will be seen weeping. The sky remain still.

Emotional run high for some.
Couple seems to lose track of time in the moment of their own.
A Man seen staring down with pending of thought in his mind.
Young yuppies stare at the computer screen for hours.
Devotee seen praying quieting.
People laughing at each other.
The poor raise her hand to beg for money.
Best friend sitting at a cafe having a good time.
Man sleeping on at the floor.
Woman chatting on the phone while crossing the street.
A teen is busy study the subject from his book on the table.
A girl seems to be sad but hold back her tears as she walk through the streets.

I.. walked through the street on a peaceful afternoon. I had spotted them and wrote them down.

No matter what we did, it doesn't seems to disturb the peace of the sky. The sky doesn't change even we shout at it.

Spirit versus flesh.

We heard that all the time. It's a common phase use when you are in a pursue to any spiritual journey.

However, just what is the different between the spirit and the flesh?

The flesh is weak, it crave for lust, greed.In the bottom line, it is a reactive force on whatever happen surrounding it.

The spirit is the opposite of what the flesh is. It is a force that is proactive on whatever happen surrounding it.

In order for the spirit to flourish, the flesh has to suffer. In order for the flesh to flourish, the spirit has to die or be ignore.

Both is an equally strong force.

Learn to be good takes three years, learn to be bad takes 3 days. It easier to destroy than to build.

The flesh can help strengthen the spirit through resist of temptation.

The spirit can be flourish by meditation, reading, praying, resisting, retreat, training.

Once a person fall into temptation, it hard to put in on track into the spiritual journey

I a "random thinking" kind of guy. I would all the sudden think of a question and go find out about it.

During my ITE days when i was idling around with my buddies at the shopping mall, i suddenly raise a question to my friend "How did the bank get the money to start up?"

"Aiyah, they just tell people to deposit money into their bank for interest rate and safely. With those money the client deposit, they use it to start out. It a game of gamble. If it didn't work out well the bank will just close down." he replied

I loved the ITE days, it's a time when my mind was filled with expectation. I don't know about youngster now, but people at my time was filled with expectation for the coming future.

In my quest to know more about financial stuff (before some financial "guru" deceived me of my hard earn money) I learned of things deeper than that.

There are two kind of investment, one is called "long term" another is called "short term".

For long term investment, you will heard something similar to this

"If you put money in your bank , you only get 0.02 interest rate per annual. However, if you put money in the plan that i going to introduce to you. it will get you a return of 4 to 5 per cent of interest rate per annual. In ten years you will get more return than what your bank will offer."

let's start from long term investment. it not actually "long term". It is long term for the client but short term for the company selling the product. let's be logic, a bank or any financial company need loan to start up. They need to made profit. They need to know how to get money fast, and the only way is through short term investment. The so called safe investment actually move with the market.

However, long term investment is needed. It is a back up source. A monthly input of money into a financial plan is a smart move. For my opinion, once the ten to five years is over ,the money should be put to short term investment instead of continue the plan.

What is short term investment? It is what you called "risky investment"

Stocks,for ex,future, options, real estate. (there are more) i like to called them financial tools.

The return is not monthly or yearly. it is daily.

There are investor called "big boys" known as those rice guys or bankers, and there are investor called the "small boys also known as retail investor or leverage investor.

There is a woman. Greatly praise by both catholic and Muslim. The perfect woman of God. Her name is Mary. The mother of Jesus. The holy virgin. She live out the word written by king Solomon of a great godly woman.

After experience all the bad, the good and the weird about woman, i begin to ask myself who is the great example of a woman? As i can find none so far. I can only think of Mary. (Just as woman think of Our lord as the great example of man)

She accept God request to give birth to Christ without hesitation. Remain godly and a virgin all through her life.

In a time where moral and politic crash. People done immorally thing and use excuse to hide it for moral reason which create a complex society. And it made love even more complex.

The holy virgin Mary is humble, Godly, well manner and honest. All other that i saw is just faking it.

Where is the "Mary" in my life? can i find her before my time is over? If i found her, what is next? After all love is not just love.

There is a trend in a recent news. That is more and more people are having sex video and picture in Singapore.

From NYP Tammy to the Singapore Edison.

It lead me to think about the comment that my friend once written in her blog which is "Singaporean guys only think about sex"

True to the fact from what i know is guy is more lustful than girls. This is the what i know from the time i was young.

However the question i want to ask is that since the girls are the willing party in the sex video and scandal,are Singapore guy the only one who only think about sex? or are guy suppose to made the first move in term of sexual request that made us the bad guys?"

Does that made the girls and the guys equal in term of their lust toward sex?

If the girls in the Edison sex video saga doesn't have to face a risk of losing their job will they come out and say "sorry"?

For the "Singapore Edison" saga aren't the girls willing also? It made me think that there is no such thing as morally upright, everything is upside down. Whatever things a guy can do, a girl can equally do. How lustful a guy is, a girl can be equally lustful.

whether they are Singaporean Chinese girl or foreign woman, to me they are all just human being, with the same weakness. There is no longer a thing call high class or low class in my heart. it the action and the intention in their heart that matter. whether they got degree or uneducated to me it made no difference.

Once upon time there was a village in a valley.

People life is simple, the village is governed by a village head and the villager live by the resources surrounding it. Such as Live stocks, vegetable farm and a reservoir filled with fresh water.

One day, the village chief announce to the villager that the village's water source will soon come to the end. The village head want to hire people to fetch water from the near by mountain to refill the water source and for each bucket of water fetch back from the mountain will be rewarded with 2 gold pieces.

That time only two guys are available for this job, the name of these two guys are called Dan and Roy.

Roy is well build and strong in physical strength

Dan on the other hand is quite slim in build and also have quite an average in physical strength.

Together they trade in their time to fetch water from the mountain back to the village. As time went pass, both of them are quite well doing. Roy is having a good time with the money he earn.Dan on the other hand save up what had he earned.

One day Dan got injured, he has slow down in term of speed when it come to fetching the water back to village.
Dan got stress about his work and his future, as he might lose he income when his injury get worst. He began to think about a solution to his problem.

One day he come out with an idea of building a pipeline to fetch water effortlessly from the mountain to the village. He told this idea to Roy to help him in constructing the pipeline. However, Roy laughed at him and told him not to dream.

Dan give up fetching water with the bucket and begin to plan and build his pipeline with the amount of saving he has. Time went by, Roy laughed at him as Dan is spending way too much money on thing he can't see. Roy continue to enjoy his money from the job which he is having.

After two years and all the money gone, Dan manage to finish the pipeline and redirect the water to a pond behind his house. he supplied the water by the amount that the village head demands.His source of income increase steady everyday. Dan became rich and use the extra money to hire worker to build pipeline in other village. Now Dan don't have to work, his income comes passively.

Roy heard this news, got angry and spend all his time fetching more and more water, however there is a limit to his strength. He got tired and fall sick, the money he earn goes to the doctor who is giving him the treatment

On a daily basis, if you ask me what i worry about, i will tell you i will be worry about Money,Job, reputation, studies, relationship and Health.

If you suddenly ask me what i think about death, all the sudden my worries seems to be unrealistic. I will say that relationship and being alive are the main thing in life, and i will tell even if you have one friend with you and he or she is willing to spend his or her time to laugh and enjoy with you, that is the greatest blessing. And money seems to be unimportant.

If we are can live forever, time will be meaningless. That is also the main reason why the bible said that God is patience in forgiving.He live forever, time is nothing to him.

We rush to complete things. We rush to live life to the fullest. We are constantly busy because we want to forget the fact that we can anytime leave this world.

"People worship God because they scare of death."

That is not true, People are not scare of death. People are scare to die before knowing their purpose of living. In religion, people found wisdom in understand their purpose of living.
Purpose is the main reason for living.

Do the things you enjoy, because life is too short to do the thing you dislike.
I found out that making full use of time we have in volunteering to do thing make life more interesting. (The Yes man)

I once attended a wake of my ex church member's grandmother about two years ago. Before she passed away, i went to visit her and spoken to her when she is lying on her hospital bed. she was alive and and moving. At the wake, i saw the same lady lying in the coffin. No matter how hard i stare at her, she didn't move at all. There is no life in the body.

Those who went with me to the wake just pay their respect and left, some stay and chat.

While the i was feeling uneasy as the word keep repeat itself in my mind "She is not moving, there is no life.There used to be, i talked to her before."

The definition of life i have from there on, is something i cannot use word to describe. It has add more value to my life.

There is a common trait in people you found at Schools,workplace, national service and shopping malls.

It is the "walls" that you need to break in order for them to be your friend. The word for this is call "ice-breaking". People all have their own level of privacy.

For a person to be your friend, the first 90 second of impression is the last impression any person is going to leave.

Second barrier we need to break is the bio-status of the person.It is still at a very formal stage, where exchange of simple information like age, working status, relationship status, family sibling and hobbies take places.

The third stages, is at a more closer stage where people share their emotion and problem with each other. Normally when both friend are of opposite gender reach this stage they might become attracted.This is also the "honeymoon period' for couple.

The fourth stage, is the last stage.Where all the flaw and hurt are being endure by each other.normally, when friends reaches this state they are either separated or stay as good friends. A great deal of understanding is needed at this stage.

This is normal.

However, let think out of the box for a moment. Let's say i know that it is hard to form a friendship in the real world. i create a world where breaking-ice is simple. Because once i win a trust from a friend, it is easy to request things from them.As well as using our friendship as a bait to get what i want.

i create a world where people are all supportive, friendly and willing listens. Ice-breaking is very simple.Or should i say these people will help you break the ice. They are beautiful people which break the ice for you.

I will tell this group of people the reason to be nice is a strength and teaches them that once a person grab hold of another person heart, Guilt and hurtful words will be a weapon. The best part is that no evidence will be found.That person will be train to throw away his or her logic skill when listening to a nice and gentle speaker because he or she don't want to be outcast.

They will reason thing base on the logic that i want them to reason in.Because in my world, people don't have to face the hardship of making friends or even feeling rejected. In this world that i created, everybody is friend and family.And i want them to teaches this logic to the friend around them. Those who refuse to listen are advice to break off their friendship with them.

Imagination time is over, now back to the topic.

Sound scary? sound like some cult? What evil or sick mind was i thinking? Or is it what i wrote was actually happening in the real world?

Before my blog get flame by supporter of any organisation, i not going to say any names.

However, this is a guideline. Nothing in this world is easy. Even making friends.

If a place is full of friendly people that tell you to relax, my advice is do not throw away common sense or logic.

I not saying about religious group as from my experience, making friend still take the "normal road" in religious group which made them normal and safe.

Common sense is not so common. If it common, i won't be writing my experience......

During the previous year, i had been fickle minded about my goal and my focus. Because of this trait which lead me to achieving nothing. Even with careful planning, a fickle mind will not lead me to any destination.

I decided to put my effort on patience, focus and planning. It turn out pretty well.

However, even that is the case, i am still human. My flaw begin to mirror to myself as time passes. I beginning to become impatience. In my heart, i wanted to achieve thing in a faster and greater pace by taking on more thing that i can handle. I was tempted by the words such as "shorter time", "excuses" and "faster way".

My experience with these three word has not been a good one. In my logical mind i knew one principal which never fade in me. There is no shortcut, and there is no such thing as a faster way. Just as the bible wrote; "the pathway to hell is a high way, while the path to heaven is a narrow gate only few will find it"

Yes, in work there is always way to find shortcut. It takes hard work and experience for those people working longer before me to provide that shortcut to finish that task.In the end, there is no shortcut.

Only the devil will offer shortcut, and so far i had experience nothing but lies and emptiness in those so call short cut method. And yes, the devil is call "the father of all lies"

Only God offer a longer and painful path which lead to life.(i will not discuss about it here)

What does the above topic that i wrote link about topic regarding choices? Don't get me wrong, i haven't wrote out of the content yet. i still within it.

"There will be a time, when one must make a choice"

Let me repeat my principal which i had learned to reach a goal, it is patience, focus and planning.

However, if one is standing in the cross junction of choices where he need to give up certain thing in order to prioritize his goal. Questions such as these will appear in that person mind;

"which one must i give up?"
"i can't take on all this goal i wanted to achieve, as time, focus, attention and money are needed"
"if i take on all the goal that i wanted to achieve, possibility is the skill level of individual field is not enough for me to reach the next level as time is needed in term of trait and error."
"If i focus all my attention on achieving so less, what if i die tomorrow?"

Every stool need three poles to stand if two are remove, the stool cannot stand. If the question and the temptation to achieve more in less time will take away patience and focus, leaving only planning.

Remember where we are now, is the result of the choices we made in the past. Those thing in front of our eye is either an opportunity or a trap.

Both are learning experiences.(salesman love this sentence, if it from their mouth i take it as crap)

i made two choice for myself to chose

1. chose to achieve all the choices, but i need to only focus and complete one first before moving on to the next.
2.Give up certain thing to totally focus on one goal that is top priority.

I once read a comment on a forum which wrote " Nowadays youngster are confuse between love and lust"

I begin to question myself whether i part of it?

To begin with, if i would to fall in love with a woman what will i look out for?

1.Looks. She need to be pretty or cute either one will do.
2.A good personality, one that can share my problem with and also one that i can click with.
3. An average figure.

The answer that i have for myself is that i pretty much close to that "confuse" group.

What is love?
To be love is:
1) when i made a terrible mistake and my dad says "all human mad es mistakes you are only human don't think too much about it"
2)When i made a confession to my mum and she said "it okie , don't do it again"
3)when my prayer is answer.
4)when friends don't demand much from each other and just enjoy each other company.
5)when i tell myself "it okie, everything is to be fine"

What is lust?
it is a craving of the body. Body that is an eye candy.

I once asked a friend about how she chose her potential boyfriend. She told me that her potential boyfriend need to be caring, loving, gentle. without good look is fine, as long as he is average looking.

Then when i asked her again about why she didn't chose xxx who declare his love to her, she just said " oh my god, he is just an average Joe which don't even have money, my taste goes for handsome hunk"

To be with someone that is good looking is hard
To be with someone who willing to give that genuine love is not only difficult but it require us to take a look in our own heart.

I saw in the bulletin, after mass, that a ministry is looking for tutor. To be flank, i got no experience in teaching people, but i want to made my time useful and there is no harm trying.

i invited two of my friend to join me in teaching the kids. These two friends of mine look more like a tutor than me. I look more like a biker than a gentle teacher.

One of them accepted my invitation, and fall in love with teaching the kid. i also have my share of joy while teaching the kid assigned to me.

I learned that teaching is about letting the student know the concept, it about using the concept that i had learned to anaylise the question rather than just memorise and trying their luck. interacting with the kid is also very important. even though it is being a tutor for free, but the joy in the heart is priceless.

Insurance is very important. I put my trust in the insurance product but not the person pitching to me.

I was injuried and praise god that i had brought an insurance plan to cover all my bills for day surgery.

To made claim, just call the customer service officer of the plan that you brought and tell them all the detail they want. They will sent a NOG to the hospital to made the claim.

without insurance, all your hard earn money will be deleted very fast by hospital bills.

Using a insurance product also comes with experience.

Routine create a habit.

when i was nursing my wound at home. i contiune to practice my move for my sports, and to my surpise i made much improvement on my moves within two days. it about how much time you put in perfecting a skill,and not just attending it.

actually it start in the mind first then "rooted" in the heart. that is why some religion have meditation. meditaiton is the control of thought to guard the heart.

Skill is something that is fun at the beginning.It get boring in the middle, and it become all worth it at the end.

It like hiking up a mountain, half way to the top is cover by all the same looking trees and more trees for almost half a day.At the top is the most beautiful scenery that last only for a hour because of thirst and hunger.After hiking down from this mountain means we must hike up again to see the beautiful scenery

Sometime putting all the effort in training doesn't mean we can get the result we want. Just like a Hiker forgot to bring his camera when he reach the top.. Or half way he just want to quit and take a swim..

There also talented people who can master a skill at a very short time and those who have the passion to made his skill like an art,like those regular hiker who made walking up the mountain seems like running.

In the middle of every skill development is the boring part, it where mistake are everywhere.People and situation are stopping us.we are stopping our self.It seems that we have try everything but nothing seems to work.

Like hiking through the middle of a mountain, stamina are running out,water are finishing,team mate are arguing,people lost trust in each other,the leg can't take it anymore and accident happens after an accident.

After completing one skill, to take it to the next level mean to search for a tougher challenge.

Just like looking for a new mountain to hike...

I used to be a romantic guy.

I am a sucker for the feel of that romantic feeling in those drama.For example;

Doing everything to please the girl
Need their demand.
Taking the girl of my dream to the sea side to catch the breeze.
sending tons of flowers to her.

I had done all that to a girl and the end result was that girl rejected me.

I not quite a "once bitten twice shy" kinda guy, so i had been doing my romantic act for those girl who i fallen in love with and none of them accepted me.

In the end, i try to get straight to the point by asking the girl without those romantic act.And i was instantly in a relationship which did;t last.

You can say that i became cold hearted toward love.

I not a kind of guy who give up on myself easily,however i knew that i can't advance anywhere in life when i just stuck to discover what is love. I had to learn this weird and fate linking thing as i work toward my goal.

I take this learning process as a side quest to understand it.

I heard,ask,read and try this stuff called love. i find that there is really no fix formula for this thing call love.

As 2008 passes by me and i had achieved what i planned. i beginning to understand what love is about....

The first type of love is called "puppy love", the most common type of love, is where two people met up and didn;t quite understand each other all they know is that they love each other.A fast and furious relationship.

the second type of love is the "bonding love". It what you called the friends to lover relationship. To be flank, i think this is called fate.It where a guy and a girl goes through thick and thin together and they form that feeling and understanding for each other.

The third type of love is called confusing love or unwilling love.
This type is either they are marry for the sake of being marry or they are together because they are lonely.Some is for the sake of boosting their egos.

I used to think that love is about how i felt, but now i realise is about how the other party felt.

And most important is about asking each other to give each other that chance to made a different in each other life.

will i able to write down my experience of a realistic love and ask if she is able to give herself this chance this 2009?

I will plan out and let the Lord decide.

I once heard a story about a wealthy man who told a construction worker to build a four storey house without the first three level. In the end, the house which the construction worker built for the wealthy man collapse with the wealthy man inside it.

Sometime i wonder why so many people(including me) find it hard to tackle life's problem when so many of our folklore story told to us in school content so many moral behind it.

The reason why i told the story above because I'm going to BUST the bigger myth that a lot of people believe and that myth is the "rap to riches myth".

This myth are uses by a lot sale people as a tactic to convince their listener.

it true that poor people does become well doing but in a very slow,DARING,LOGIC and stable manner.

The rule of money is
"the poor will become poorer, and the rich will become richer"
This is the money grow money theory which is investment,which is by a daring and logical manner

"the poor will only become richer by learning how to manage money"
This is the theory of budget and saving which is the slow and stable manner.

i found some very interesting thing on the net. It the story of bill gates.

Everybody know the story, he is a hardworking guy who drop out of college and create his own wealth by selling his own computer operation system.

The truth in detail is, he drop out of a college called Harvard and his family funded him a computer to start his experiment on the operation system.To own a computer at the late 60's and to get into Harvard college means his parent is super rich!! source:

So next time if any body tell you that you can get super rich from super poor just by follow certain instruction such as buying his product, following his way, buy this house. i strongly suggest that you do your own research and own planning.

the best thing is to analysis what is the need of this "wise guy".

What about shares?

to be honest i was luckily that nobody told me that they could made 30,000 SDG in profit in a day or else i would feel like either to kill that guy or dig a hole and hide my head for even to listen to him.(Got one guy told me his friend can made 10,000 SDG a month working in refinery just by getting a uni Cerf.I wonder what the company turn over is going to be like if they are going to give their worker their AWS of 4 month when each of them earn above 2000 dollar each month. prehap telling that uni grad to manage the whole waste water treatment plant single handed would be more logic )

The more money you want to win in share mean the more money you will have pump in, the higher the input the harder it is to win back the loss compare to those who put lower input.beside you can only put in sdg 20,000 for one share. which mean you got to analysis more than three to five share just to earn that 30,000 in a day.

Profit about 4000 dollar to as low as 100 dollar a day is possible if one isn't greedy in playing this game of short term investment. i saw people losing 10,000 dollar and people winning 600 dollar a day.

Adding up the profit and loss in each of this input of money into one's pocket show that you still need at least 3 year to be every rich. if one can resist the temptation of not buying anything on loan.

Unless one is talking about total financial freedom such as passive income.Then becoming very rich is possible.

I would suggest the best place to start becoming good in managing wealth is:
1.Popular bookshop to buy book that can advise you
2.library to borrow those books
3.Attend a financial seminar, it worth every cent, some is Free!

Today i had watched the animation "death note" on DVD which i had brought from the CD shop.

After watching two hour of it, i had completed 12 chapter of it.(i had injury my hand, on 10 days MC, so i spent this time relax at home)

i remember when i was not so well doing, in term of salary, i used to catch "death note" on YouTube when this series was very famous.It took me 1 month to complete watching 12 chapter.

Reason behind this was because the owner of the video need at least two days to upload the video.and that time i was working as an sale assistant in popular bookstore, time wasn't on my side.

The time difference of completing the 12 chapter of "death note" animation leads me to a lot of thoughts.

i find that if a person use his time wisely, he can complete one task within a very short period of time.

it made the quote "don't count your days, but make everyday counts" sound more and more logical the more i think about the time differences.

last time when i was in wushu, my instructor loves last min work.He always idle around, telling us to train things that doesn't seems to get us anywhere. When our sifu told my instructor that he need people for performance, he would quickly rush to train us. The end results was that we looked like amateur from the rest of the club who was well prepare.

He could have use the idling time to sharpen our skills.
We didn't blame him, as the "idle spirit" was there.And i was a big dreamer that time.(7 years ago)

I had read story of great people who done great thing, they never idling but always training,planning and preparing.

Each second mean something for them.

sometime i felt guilty of idling around.
Even though i have a habit of idling, i will slowly get rid of the habit as my new year resolution.

As i continue to think about using time wisely.

i recall of myself:
- sending 20 resume in 2 weeks to land myself in a job.
-jog everyday 2 weeks before national service just to survive pre-course, when before that i can't even jog 500metre
-do 5 push up 3 times everyday just to progress to 50 push up 3 times one month before national service.
-chat up with girls who i don't know on the street( it at town area, don't get any weird idea) for 6 months just to cure my shyness.
-read 2 hours everyday just to learn how to think, 3 month before NS.

I had done all this "experiment". Time is indeed something that i need to use wisely.I just imagine that if i had used this time wisely when i was younger, i could have complete even more things.

the past is the past,what left is the present.And the only way is to continue to move on with new wisdom learned.

Last night i watch a documented film titled " The Human spirit".It about a putting a group of strong willed disabled people together to complete a journey across Africa.

I was totally impress by the strong will of the disable.They conquer the difficulty in their daily life and now they are doing thing that the able bodies might not able to accomplish.

There is white guy in the group who lose one of his hand in an accident.The words that he said is very uplifting.He said "When you are near to death and it seems that you are losing everything, it actually kinda give you a sense of strong confidence that you can overcome everything.Because nothing out there is worst than this.With this sense of confidence i always told myself i can do it and hate other people saying they can't do it.A lot of people are disable up there in their head. they just keep saying they can't do it."

His word hit me hard.As there are days in my past when i become very emotional over little things.And end up going no where.

I had seen rich people who are able-bodied crying over little things and create a big fuss.wasting everybody times. And very poor people instead of solving their own problem they create even more problem.

I once read in the newspaper about a girl in Singapore who had cancer.She wrote a blog about her feeling and experience during her fight against this illness.
Her blog is fill with positive words and humor.She made the best out of every bad things that the cancer had done to her.She was a happy girl till her very last breath.She had lose her fight against cancer.What live on from her, is her human spirit to smile in the face of such unfairness.

Prehap this is why most religion told us not to be too attach to the material world.As we might lose sight of the human spirit within us and become "disable".

It was 2005, I'm was alone in my department under a semi-conductor plant.Having to complete a two men job all on my own before lunch time was a challenge.(My senior was on medical Leave) As i need to plan fast my move,doing logistic, moving chemical gas cylinder and charging them up.(My department one day only got two people working)

After completing my task and covered in sweat, i went into the control room to take a break before my lunch. i unexpectedly found a friendly engineer Sitting in the control room taking a break.

He was from Malaysia,he left his rural hometown of more than 100km at the age of 21 to the city of Singapore to find work.

I sat down on the chair and begin to chat with him.I started the topic by asking him on why he never stay in his home town to work instead of travelling so far to work.

He told me that finding job was quite hard for a Chinese there and the expense there was quite high unlike Singapore.

The Malaysian continue the conversation by telling me his story.

After he completed his basic education under a Malay base school(which mean he completely don't know how to read and write Chinese) and he left his rural hometown in johor bahru to KL for further education.

he completed his diploma in electrical engineering and beginning to find a job in Malaysian. However, being a Chinese mean job chances are given to the "first class" citizen first, he didn't give up searching. After landing his first job as an technician in Malaysia, he found that his pay is not enough to catch up with the heavy daily expense no matter how thrifty he tried.(when i went to genting, i spend around 20rm for one meal.i can spend 6 sing dollar in Singapore for one meal eating in orchard)

One day,He heard from his friend who is working in Singapore that the environment and pay is good compare to Malaysia.With nothing to lose, he rode his bike to Singapore to find job.

He worked in popular bookstore for more than a year.During that year, he rented a room in Singapore for 300 dollar a month which is a wise choices.(imagine having to ride a bike for 100km back and forth everyday, this prove that Honda bike is the best)

while working in retail line,he never give up searching for a job as an engineer because of his passion in technical stuff.

After he found a job in a semi-conductor plant as a technician.He never give up learning.Al way asking question and go for upgrading course.Within two years he become an engineer.

I was inspire by his story.before i left for the canteen, he told me that he was going to look for another big company after working another year here.

His life is hard and his boss is demanding, but he never stop smiling. which sometime put me, a person who born in a place full of opportunity, to shame.

It is time for me to walk out of the "strawberries generation"?

It the recession period.

It is another crisis in life that will soon come to pass like all other thing in life.The unluckily one may get their "recess" but not to be sad as there a saying "resting oneself is to go a longer distance"

All this period in life will let one accumulate wisdom, insight and sometime resentment.All those thing is called experience.

Experience is one thing people can look back and find certain answer to the future problem.It made a person become stronger from his setback and mistake, provided that person is alive to learn it.

Experience can be both painful and sweet.Making it an emotional roller coaster.

Let me share ab it of my experience with certain thing i had try and i had getting better from it.

The first thing i would like to share is my first experience of riding a 150cc motorbike.

When i first got my motorbike from a buyer at the Internet, i was at least more than 40km away from my estate.I got on the bike, start it and i go hit the road with totally no idea how to go back.

I also totally forgotten half of my traffic rules.

changing lane is a big chore, as i turn my head back and forth thrice before making a change.i manage to made it to the expressway and made a big loop around Singapore.Even through i riding at 60km/hr, my heart is racing at top speed of 140bpm.

I had a revelation that God grace is enough to pull me through all my problems as i found out when i got home that my fuel tank is on "reserve" and the battery is already flat.

The second thing I'm going to share is about my experience with love.

To put it simple, love is like having the other person smiling image stuck in your head.Everything about the other person is nice when one is falling in love.Those nice thing include the smile,the eye,saliva,sweat and body odour all is like a gift from heaven.Holding someone you love will takes your breath away.Love will made big chemical reaction of racing heart beat and raging hormones.

Man and woman both wants love and lust.As both are human being.

The big question in all raging hormones single head is how to be love.

I confirm that to be love, one has to follow a basic rule and that is

"Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find."

Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to peach some religious message.

I here to write about this topic called "Good news".

As you all know, news got good and bad.Good news uplift the soul and bring smile to face.Bad news brings anxiety, fear and uncertainly.

The most common and interesting news that people like to hear or read is the Bad news.This kind of news can be found in almost every Newspaper.From Gossip in the entertainment world, to unfortunate accident in the real world and weird thing people get themselves into.These bad news capture attention of million reader compare to the good news that Bill Gate is giving billion of dollar to charity.

Even through it is interesting to read, the effect of bringing the fear of uncertainly is there.

I once read a Book written by Mary Carlomagno titled "Give it up!My year of learning to live better with less".The book is about her journey to give up certain habit in life to live better within a year.

In one of the chapter that caught my attention is her attend to give up reading newspaper.

Can you imagine that? Giving up reading newspaper?Is like shutting yourself away from the happening world.People will be laughing at anyone who doesn't know what is going on in this exploding world of information.

She replace her habit of reading newspaper by reading Poems.Positive and uplifting poems was read, first thing in the morning, instead of newspaper.

Not only did she save a huge amount of money from not buying newspaper, she felt really good and motivated first thing in the morning.It really a food for thought.

The cure for "monday blues"? A good book that tell you how wonderful this world is.

I have always hated homework in my early day as a kid.I was blessed by my parent with a SEGA video game system for me to play, due to home work, i had less time to play the game.Being very indiscipline as a kid, i always hack care my homework and end up playing the video game for the whole day.

When i was the age of 16, and begun to take lesson in martial art, i began to see the important of homework from this activity that i had taken up.

My senior in martial art always told us that in order to achieve near perfection in the movement, one have to train at home everyday.

When time passes by as i had experience all the sweet and sour in life, i learned that not only did we need to train everyday for the movement, we need to read up material on the subject in order to change on the thing that we need to train everyday.Only this way we can improve in the area of field we are in.

By then, i had a revelation of the Principal of homework.

Homework is a constant work of practice, problem solving,planning,research,testing and insight on whatever field that we are in.The principal that i had realise is so simple and yet time after time i had forgotten to apply, how i wish to tattoo this revelation on my arm.

It was five O'clock in the evening and i had finished all my work. I Still need to wait for another three hour to knock off.I picked up a book that my senior had borrow from the library titled "wisdom for life" and began reading it.
The book is all written in Chinese,it is like a Chinese version of "chicken soup for the soul."
After I've reading the book, i begun telling stories to my two senior of what i had just read.i had manage to capture their attention and they are interested in the stories that i had told them.
I had manage to kill three hour of idle time in my workplace.

Story is a form of communication.A form of idea,view and inspiration.

Most charismatic leader uses story to spread their intended message.

Most great man uses story to inspire people.

Story telling give listener the same "addictive" feeling as listening to gossip of other people,the only different is the positive effect of the message in the story.Gossips, on the other hand had a negativity effect of pulling down other.

Everybody got a story to tell.It depend on how inspiring the story can get that lead people to remember it for a long time.Stories that is sad,negativity,sadist and full of blame only stay in the mind of people for short time.After all, everybody can complain,It is human nature

Stories that is uplifting is of a human spirit.

I used to tell a story of "Rocky Balboa" to a girl who is about to take her A level in a month's time.I told her the author of "rocky balboa"(in very brief summary) is a poor chap who dream big,His dream is to be a actor.He spent all his time trying to be an actor of his own script that he had wrote.When his cash had run out before he found his big chance,he decided to sell his favourite dog to an old man for cash to continue looking for it.(This author had a hard time to become an actor because of his speech and mouth problem)
Finally, he found big chance to act.This author offer the old man, who he sold his dog to,for a chance to play in his movie by giving him a role as a trainer.In return of his dog.

The girl was inspired by the story which I've told her.She worked hard for her A level, after she finished watching "Rocky Balboa" series....

A Couple had planned for a picnic on a romantic Sunday afternoon at changi beach.When the day had arrived, it was raining heavily.The boyfriend don't want to see his girlfriend disappointed and cracked his brain to find solution.He rented a car for a day, brought a few fast food and fetched his girlfriend to mount Faber.He parked his car on the submit and the couple have the picnic in the car while enjoying the view from mount Faber in the rain.

Another couple plan to just relax on east coast beach.When the day had arrived,it happened to be raining heavily also.So the boyfriend had a change of plan.He called his girlfriend and said that he was busy.So the guy spend the whole day playing video games at home.

Both guys from the stories had a change of plan, but only one person had achieved his actual intention.

I once had a friend who told me to stay in a place where i took all kind of alternative solution and nothing seems to turn out well, he got very frustrated(very fast) and said i was a quitter.I was confused at that time between when to actually give up and when to keep on trying.Eventually, i left the place to look for the solution.

I learned that taking alternative means trying to achieve the same goal by taking different approaches and methods.

It may sound easy, it will get harder once the pressure get high and quitting become the easy way out.

In our daily life, we can find all sort of people looking for alternative solution.

Foreigner having a tough time making a living at their own country, leave their country to look for a better life.

When i was younger, i saw this documentaries about a cancer patient.
The doctor said he has cancer, and chances for him to recover is very mild.He is going to die.
The patient(this guy is from japan) refuse to resign to his fate.He decided to take alternative measures.
He begin to spend his time researching on books that taught him all kind of ways to boost his health.

He took all kind of raw vegetable and vitamin pills everyday.He exercises to keep fit and keep himself thinking positivity everyday.He try yoga and a weird of exercise that allow him to "bath" in the sun everyday.

After years, the doctor examined him and found that he was cured.

The question here is this, he did drop the idea of going to the hospital to receive treatment.Is he a quitter?

I believe there is a grey area for any person to be label a quitter or conqueror when it comes to finding an alternative solution.It's either a "political" view or a personal view to label the person.

I once work as a salesman who sell bank loan to people who doesn't seems to wants it.Before we were to send into actual work,We were being train by a guy who call himself a "top salesman" who is very experience in the area of sales.The trainer or the "top salesman" is very charismatic in his speech

He told us that working for a bank is the best thing.He point out that working with financial related line is the most stable as people need bank for loans and deposit of money.Banks never run out of money.

His theory was prove wrong during this time of "financial tsunami".As DBS has fired 900 of their employee.And in the recently news, Citigroup has fired more than thousands of employees.

Words spoken by man is never final.I've learned this truth from experience.The only thing that last in a man is his Principal.

Words spoken by a person,mix with confidence and charismatic attitude,can made even the most educated person can be deceived.

By the recently news, most of us would have spotted a common trend in telling the reader of people getting cons or mislead by timeshares,structures bonds and shaking insurance investment.

Television program even started to question about the stability of insurance policy.

Which made people wondering who to trust, and where to find stability in this even changing world

People all have interior motive, and trusting an influence people will lead to being manipulated by them.By sabotaging ourselves in believing in their words, we can't blame anyone but ourselves

Prehaps it time to put trust on the "old fashion things" like wisdom and Principal?

Expectation is hoping for the best thing that can possible happen.

I once had a great expectation of getting this girl, to be my girlfriend,who i like when i was training in martial art in my secondary school time.After a giving in hard effort of trying and years of waiting, she suddenly told me that she went to America to study for five years.And she didn't even say anything about "waiting for her".

Of course that incident is only a little part of my life.

There is a lot of things beside the incident that I've mention which i have given great expectation or what people call it "hopeful thinking".

However, the higher the expectation.The greater the shock when things didn't turn out as i expected it to be.

I began to lower my expectation of things as i begin to set high goal with very detail planning and "baby step" to start my first step on everything.

Most of the time, i didn't even expect anything good out of anything and i learn to be happy on the small and simple thing in life, such as eating and breathing.

So far the things that had happen this year to me has been way above my expectation.

My level of expectation didn't raises as things goes my way, as the fear build up as i had been repeatedly hitted by the "shock" over the years..

It's another happening month.
This month i was suprise by a called that i was hired by St.mary of Angel newspaper ministry to write for their paper.
I was on cloud nine when i heard this as i was planning to be hired as a volunteer writer within six month and i got hired within a month.

As a freelance writer, i need to gain experience first before selling my skill to client, as the time used for experience gaining, i can accumlate my portfolio.

Every November, I was taught by experience a very importance lesson on decision making.

It is true to what they say, "what are your choices that you made today determine where you are tomorrow"

I still remember it is this month that i made all the decision that turn my life upside down.From quitting a job,found another Job, to leaving (chrismatic)chruch,to enjoy Sin like there is no God in my heart, to made a decision to be fully bapist and finally to join an educational insitute.

It is every year of this month, that situation will turn out either the worst of it or the best of it, base on my decision.

In 2006 November, i learned that there is no such thing as shortcut in life, looking for shortcut to success is like building a road to failure.I thought i can made friends easily in chruch and get my degree easily from a private school and earn near to ten thousand every month.However things is not how i think it was.And all didn;t work out.

It takes time,patience,characther and situation(bad situation) to build up a friendship that last.Not just come together for some event and ask to smile at each other.And getting a degree is about how much commitment a person is willing to put in to learn the skill.that includes going down and dirty on the field and on the job to gain that experience.

At 2007 November, i learned that lied is everywhere.Yes, it everywhere.It is a truth which i not lying.
From courtship between lover, to work colleague, to a speech of "hope" from a saleman or financal planner and a chruch leader that speaks beautifully of how you can depend on him.
And lies is like a principle of building a house on a sand.It is easy to build,but as weather gets bad everything goes down.

Lies is like honey, it is very sweet.It is a fairytale.skillful liar wants the listener to do what they say in order to feed them more "honey".And liar love to give their listener half the truth.And in every lies, there is alway a fix ending of hope.

Truth is painful, truth is harsh.There is no fairytale in it and there is never a fix ending.But the way of truth lead to life and a peace of mind which worth more than Gold or diamond.

At 2008 November, i learn the reason behind the bondage of sin.And why the saint said that "there is no freedom in Sins".It take me though an emotional torture and hell to know this truth.One mistake in enjoying Sin and the punlishment is not afterlife but It is a death sentence to the life we are living in.And the toture will last in the person heart on every single breath he takes till his last breath.

Money made the world goes round.To be in more detail, money made us go around the world.

That is how the silk road from china is create.

Some may say, there are people who does it for passion, like an explorer,in history, who set sail on a ship to find a new land.The captain may be doing it for passion, but not the crew member(they did it for money).And one captain cannot possibility control the whole ship.

I knew a friend who once quoted to me that "money is oxygen"

One of the thing people question about money is, does money bring happiness? It a "yes" and a "no" to this question.

No, is because we gave our time in exchange for money, and to made more money means you have to spend more time.Time spend in working, investing,planning,networking,selling,buying,stock up good,study and Etc.

And because of us spending too much time on making money.We lack of the time to spend with our family and our friends, relationship is what matter the most in life.

Yes, is because if a person doesn't have a lot money.He can't do a lot of things and the environment around him is slowly taking away his money.Things such as taxes,transport fee,food,house loan,utilities bill and getting charged for jaywalking and throwing litter.He can't enjoy the things in life.(unless he decide to take a career to be some religion holy man which also hard because he needs money to take the course,and you reader think is free?)

I think the best way is learning how to handle money. Instead of being too passion about money or too hack care about it.Material to learn such stuff can be found from bookstore and library.

It wise to also take advise from people that are rich.Who is a good friend, and you saw it with your own eye really own the wealth.both "behind the screen" and in front of every body's eyes

Taking advise from people about money is a very dangerous move, and must chose wisely who you listen to.There is a lot of reason for this

If the person is poor, he will give you advise like saving up and go gambling.Or just use up whatever you have, since tomorrow you might die anyway.

If the person is wants to cheat on you, he will advise you to invest in him and his so called "idea",since he got the ability to own a car and setting up his own company which you saw it with your own eyes but don't know what is the whole story behind those things.He got the right not to tell you the whole "idea" that he is having.

After all everything is what he says(the point is you don't even follow him 24/7), and i can even say that i had been to the moon to try moon walking.

If the person is on average side of financial state, he will just advise you on saving up and study to upgrade.which i find so far is the safest advise.

But an average person advise even though is the safest but it's not really that safe.

Do you guys heard of the term "life saving",and the most common figure you get when you saw on "life saving" is $250,000.Let's do some math.

Let say you earn 1400 dollar monthly, and you manage to save 700 dollar for a month.(wow that is half, which is of course very hard).And in a year that will be around 8400 dollar a year.Add in another three months and you got ten thousand dollar in your bank.which mean in an average of one year three month to get ten thousand dollar.

To get a sum of 250,000, it take you an average of 26 years!!

And if you are one of those who buy DBS unit trust that has been "sabotage" by lebhman brother. half or none of your "life saving" will be left.

And that is one of the many reasons why even a financial planners advice is equally dangerous.

If you got a serious chronically illness, a month in hospital is going to cost you a bomb and in two years times, the 250,000 dollar will be left with only a few thousand dollar.

So the best advice to get about money is from the rich guys, after all they are already rich.

Some rich guy will write books to teach people, and they already get the extra money from selling those books,the tactic inside the books are "hard to chews facts"

the price to pay for the advice is the money you pay for the book.sound logical?

In school, we were taught to follow certain rules.The things that we should do, and the things we should not do.the things to say and to write.
We cannot do thing that is out of the context of whatever it been taught to us.

writing compensation topic must be within the acceptable level, if not, even if it's logical it is consisted a work of a retard.whatever teacher says is correct, even if he or she is bias toward to a much nicer looking student.

It is the hidden flaw of society,once any group that have been establish, a system will be created.a culture to serve a main purpose or some one's purpose.we must do and say in a style according to the system.

We all know it, we all just don't want to care about it.just swept it under the curtain.If you really want to say it, you are an outcast.

Here is a list of thing that we shouldn't do:

Kill someone we hate.
wish someone will murder that person who betray us.
stop paying taxes
shout at the lecturer that he is wasting our time
ran a car over a person who just cheated your money and your love.
tell everybody that the gracious movement is totally not logic at all.
Kiss the girl that you like who already has a boyfriend.
telling a person who will do anything for you that you are making use of him or her.and he is stupid enough to be so nice to you.
making use of your looks to get what you want
Wish certain religion group will just disappear
cheat your way for a living by telling half the truth

These are the things that not suppose to surface.it will create Chaos.these thing exists.If you read the comment by people who put fakes name in the Internet forum,you can spot at least three to four point that i had mention.

So a system with rule and regulation will be create for the good of everybody, but people become too robotic or abuse the system.

Recently, there had been a complain in the newspaper about people in Singapore not clearing up their bowls,dishes and cups when they are eating in public places(yes,I'm making the point very clear).But, the thing is, most public eating places already hired people to clear for us.What is the point of raising such issue?

It totally a correct political suggestion or complain that has no logic in it.

Once a friend of mine from my ex Church contacted me and ask me out for drink, i agree without thinking because it my first off day and i still got two off day to go and nothing to do(that time i just got the job, and i didn't join martial art yet).

It was nice, he treated me a nice meal.

then his plot started, he began to peach insurance to me (despite i told him i already brought from great eastern plus invested in unit trust).And started telling me to go back to Church(for information i already a catholic and going regularly to Church).i must say he is an expert in using political answer.

i put it in a point form of what tactic he use, so next time when you reader came across the same thing, you will know how to react.it the same tacitc uses almost everywhere, they learn from each other.

Tactic 1:

My friend: "Sam, come on.come back to our Church just like old times"

Me:" i already change Church, and i going to Church worshipping as old time what wrong with that?"

my friend:"i know, it nothing wrong. but it also nothing right about it"

Me:"what is wrong about it?"

My friend: -silent-

Tactic 2:

My friend:"i know why you are upset, maybe it because of someone in the Church that making you upset, or maybe it thing doesn't go your way, or maybe it the group." (politically correct)

Me:"nothing of that have happen, i just want to leave, because i don't like it there" (politically wrong)

my friend: "politic happen everywhere,Sam.don't take it too hard"

Me:"so now you are saying your Church is a bad place, and they are playing politic?"

my friend:"Sam..."(further answer will result in a wrong political answer)

Tactic 3:

My friend:"i know, you are cover by insurance.but there is no harm buying more."(a clever "nice guy" want credit from bringing me back to Church and getting money from the policy i buy from him)

Me: "i know you in need of money and need me to buy insurance from you, so you can get the commission from the policy.ok i will help"

My friend:" no, you don't understand,you need your finance planned out as you see i worry about your finance.and also to be cover as you know you hasn't been praying as you left Church a lot of things will happen.As you know you sometime can be abit..."(he is talking to a guy who save half his salary per month and using it for investment)

Me:" if you say you need help, i as a friend will buy from you.but since you deny it. i don't want to buy from you, because you are a lousy sale man".

My friend:"What are you talking about sam?haha... i DON'T get any commission from the policy i sell to you, i only providing you a service,ya i do get abit of money for the service i provide to the customer but it not much"

Me:" not much? commission that is given monthly to you as a form of salary from what i have given to the policy every month is not much?"(he is really beating around the bushes)

My friend: "no lah no lah, you got it all wrong. it didn't receive any commission..."(his ex girlfriend told me that he is a qualify insurance agent,and "Dr money" in sunday newspaper already wrote about commission pay job about insurance agent)

Me:"i not buying, if you contiune and don't shut up, i will just leave"

When i was 15 years old, i rode my friends bicycle down the slope from a Void deck and it was toward the road.When i near it, i found out that the bicycle has NO BRAKES.I had to use my legs and force it to stop before the truck hit me.

At the age of 16 years old, my mum told me that one of my relative was injured by fire when trying to cook instant noodle(i heard he was cooking Maggie curry chicken favour noodle)

At age 17,I read a news about an old Ganny in hong kong was scalded to death by water from a water heater when using it to bath.And another news report at that same year of a middle age lady in Singapore get killed when she was been hit by a bicycle.

At a mature of age of 20 , i saw a guy get shot by a bullet which rebounds from the wall when doing life range using his revolver during national service.

Just recently, this year.My friend's supervisor get burn in the eye when acid got shot out from a chemical drum.He recovered from the accident, his eye is doing well.(yesterday his finger got burn by acid)

The stuff i mention, you all know it.You all can't denied it.It is the risk in life.The moment you wake up from your bed,we are facing risk.

The point here is about taking risk in your life to get what you wanted in life. i know, you should be thinking things like "you want me to take risk after what you just wrote on your blog??"

Yes, of course.Why not?

Everyday we are facing risk,From the moment you are walking,eating and sleeping we all face unwanted risk.

Why not take risk in our life and give ourselves that chance to get the things we wanted in life?

There is a lot of thing that have risk in it and i made a list:
Asking the girl you like out on a date.
playing sport that you really like.
the job that you always wanted.
the competition you always want to go.
Go into business.
Play with investment.
Stand up for yourself by letting that someone know you are angry.
ride a motorcycle.
Quit your job which they take you from granted
Etc.

I know it hard.It risk... and you know it in your heart what kind of risk you are going to face.But it better than letting normal day risk in life getting the best of us.

chuck Norris, a famous martial artist started his career in martial art in Korea(1965-1978).During the electron period,He was interview by a writer at CNN on the book he wrote titled "black belt patrotism" on how to remake Amercia by "giving people power in debt problem".

The only problem in America is that they doesn't tax well enough(Most of them don't really care about their debts), and the solution in this book seems to be making this problem worst and kicking logic out of the window by letting hardworking people pay tax for people who doesn't even care.And chuck Norris is dumbfounded by the these question raise by the writer on national television.

It a learning point for me, as i on my way to be a writer.On how fact, logic and idea must be deliver carefully by the word i chose.

Everybody made mistake, there is one wise man in a book i read once quoted "Wise man learn from their mistake, wiser man learn from other people mistake"

The recent months happening in the world, made these a time to learn from other people mistake.

Firstly, this is the tainted milk product FROM china.Using chemical that is something like plastic to raise protein level of diluted milk?!!

Causes close to thousand of china baby having kidney problem because their kidney can't get rid of it as it form crystal inside it (I think china need to re plan on their one child policy).
Making the wise word like"there is no shortcut to success" and "be patience" a whole new level.

Secondly, is the shaky status of insurance giant AIG, making ton of people in Singapore that is holding AIA policy giving up their policy(some of them queuing up is not a policy holder they just want to catch the excitement).
The wise word here is "Never say never, never say even", "Risk is part of life"

and my favourite "only simpleton believe everything they heard".(this for policy holder who believe in the agent and not doing research by themselves)

And lastly,the recent news of national service man's sub machine gun(yes, a powerful assault rifle use in war.Not the small gun you saw in "heart lander" on channel 5) misfire at another NS man groin(Nutcracker!!!) and the mystery death of another NS man during training.

The wise word to here is "Take care of yourself, because nobody will" and "pray more, because you need it"

So it ok to made mistake, we are all here to learn.

I got a friend, who quoted something like " too much of a good thing is not good".I got a lot of off days and it landed all over the calendar(means it not fix).You might say it good, but to be honest i getting bored.It mean to Having to strain my mind to think of thing to do.

I began to "envy" people who are working office hour, but then again "too much of a good thing is not good".The office hour people have to work five days in a week and that mean total of twenty five days in a month, doing the same stuff smelling the stuff.So i counted myself lucky.

Have you even think of stuff like, what is there to entertain us in this small but successful country we are standing on?

I too began to think of this question because i really need to think of such question(staying at home too much isn't healthy)

Let's me share with you some of the thing i had done so far, so as to serve as a tips to let you plan for your weekend or weekday(if you are doing shift work like me)

At early this year at the month of April, i went to take course on NCAP at civil service college located at bouna vista, which is a course for coaches. As you all know i love martial art and it is a sport, so i wanted to get closer to sport people and at the same time learn some new skill. I meet up with my primary school friend Ted, and his coaching buddies.And have a lot of fun chatting and learning at the same time.After taking the test and get our Cerf we are a much more happier person.

At June, i began to "shopping" for martial art.The first choice i go is to check up a karate dojo at McCain road near Boon keng, the surrounding place got this "classical feeling", and the dojo is really cool.. However it abit far, even though i a rider and the place give me the feeling like there is going to be a lot of children training in it.I ended up going to look for sanshou(wushu sparring) at woodland community centre and found out that it has close down.

Finally on one Thursday night, i went to check up a special freestyle karate at kim seng Community centre and found out, that it really doesn't suit my shift timing and the member is like only a handfuls. feeling discourage, i sat on my bike and left for turf city at bukit timah where J H kim taewondo school is at.And the administer at the school really give her time to explain to me about how the school is like.So i joined at July.

At August, i get to know a "pillion buddy".She tag along with me to explore Singapore.We went to changi beach,bedok,hongaug,sengkang,tampiness,cityhall,holland village,clementi road,bukit timah and finally bishan.
My favourite is the changi beach, it is nice and quiet.really give the feeling like it is the outskirt of Singapore.And of course we witness a big fire at johor side during our short stay at changi beach.

In closing, i have done thing like taking course,take up sports and go sight seeing. Singapore isn't a boring place after all.

pressure is the force acting on an area applied to an object in a direction perpendicular to the surface.

i found the definition of pressure in the wikipedia wed site, in simple form it like putting air in a balloon, the air create pressure in the balloon and if the balloon can't take it anymore it will explore in your face(if you are using the mouth).

i observe that the starting of putting pressure in any container is easily and fast, but when the pressure start to build up, putting any more pressure inside is hard and slow.

NO, I'm not writing science stuff.. it will put you to sleep.(And that made me a very failure writer)

I observe that whatever law is at physic seems to apply the same to our mind and body when it comes to achieving our goal.

I remember when i took on this job,saving money,train up,self discipline myself into praying,rejoin martial art(finally after 5 years) everything seems easy at the start. It feel easy, new , refreshing.

At work, i looking forward to report in early, ask a lot of questions, volunteer to take on new task and improve on whatever mistake i made.

At sport, every off day i will go to training and go to you tube to check up how to execute certain moves.doing flexibility training.

Everything is good.easy,fun and en joyful.

As time when pass, thing becoming harder.

At work, I began to turn up late at work,stop asking question,lose the interest and sometime slacking off.
At sport, i began to get lazy at training,turn up less for class and began to train lesser at home.

What is the reason behind all this? the reason is pressure.

I began to feel stress as i encounter with difficulty and i don't know how to handle it.i forgot the first feeling i got when i first started off.It is the most common thing people have face, and being human i also experience it.

the answer to this question i found is knowing what you want. As I began to ask myself is this what i want? and the answer is "Yes". And strangely after i got the answer, the "pressure" seems to go away.

I found the energy to do all the thing i planned to do, and relive the first feeling i got for the things i enjoy doing.

For today it is the same principle apply, i didn't feel like writing, i feel like just quitting.But this is what i wanted to do, i have to discipline myself even though i don't feel like writing.

there is a different being wanting to do it and a need to do it.I got the perfect situation that i encounter to explain my point;

There are time in my past, when i was in my ex Church, i didn't WANT to go and i didn't WANT to do thing they told me to do.

It is something that i FEEL that NEED to do(i am a responsible christian last time, but now a catholic still loving God only). The speaker really talk his way through, and i was struggling with myself and peer pressure, i know in my heart that my love is at martial art.(if you end up fighting with you self, you end up on the floor whether you win or lose).

They always "encourage" them to do certain things like turning up for chruch's event( by putting unwanted pressure and peer pressure on you), and "encourage" by your peers in chruch to turn down whatever plans you have in order to attend their events.Even plan like visiting your parent who is in the hospital, they will "encourage" you to turn it down.(i not making this up)

the things that i mention is the perfect case study to let you know what kind of pressure get you ahead like a good compress natural gas cylinder(CNG) that power up a car and what kind of pressure made you burst like a balloon.

After all diamond are create under high pressure underground.

There are times when you went into the lift and your neighbour started asking "what you are doing now?" and you answered "i working now" and they will smile and say that you are being responsible of your life.

Sound uplifting?There is always two side to one situation.

Work give people the satisfaction of them making themselves useful, giving their service to the company which made up part of the financial grow of the country.

Having a lot of work available in the country, made the country strong and rich.It made us independent as we are spending our own bucks.

Some of you might be thinking of stuff like "who give the heck about the country? I sick of having to work everyday and get so low pay when everything is going up" You might say that you didn't want say about the "country" stuff, but come on, i know that we don't normally say stuff that school or the society tell us NOT to say. but it the truth.

The fact is, not every job you have to work everyday behind the desk letting the computer starring at you sleeping or standing in a shopping centre starring at ceiling(counting the lines and spiders) doing stuff that are totally giving you the "blues".If you are willing to get real extreme, work can be fun and come with a lot of money.

There are total of 72 Lines, both include white collar and blue collar jobs.From pest control,car washer,salesman,technician,logistic,marine, solider,police officer, air stewardess,private investigator,broker,fire fighter, pastor,martial art instructor,dispatch rider,chief,chemist, gym instructor,sport man(this is tough in Singapore),dance instructor,dancer, singer(in a small club),social escort,IT specialist,nurse, doctor,man hunter(there are already three Singaporean went to Indonesian to hunt for Mr Mas),journalist,hairdresser,banker,farmer,fisherman,gravedigger, undertaker.....ETC

The list can on and on.

a Desk bound job is way out of the fashion for me, i used to know an "answer man"(people who thought they know what is best for you) who happen to be a leader in Church(ex-Church actually) who told me to just find a normal desk job and live my life safely and i did landed myself on the job(the pay was really out)

by the grace of God, i did get fired from the job after three months(God knows best) and i landed myself as a chemical technician and i find this job really out of the ordinary .(And the pay is rewarding), it been 11 month and i really learn a lot about myself from this job.

i am really regret for even to listen and follow the "answer man"

I didn't say desk bound is not good, it just not for me. A job is a personal choice based on what you really want in your life and not on some "answer man".Job is a divine calling from the man above.
